This information notice allows you to know, even before accessing the various sections of the Site, how IFI Security will process your personal data, both those provided directly by you (such as your name, surname, postal and e-mail address, age, date of birth, gender, etc.) and those collected in other ways by IFI Security as described in the section “What personal data we process and how we collect them” (hereinafter, collectively, “Personal Data”). (hereinafter collectively “Personal Data”). You should read this before submitting your Personal Data. Identity and contact details of the Data Controller The Data Controller is IFI Security srl (hereinafter “IFI Security” or “Data Controller”), with registered office in Rome, Via Po, 12 – 00198, and with the following contact details: tel. + 0645474020, reported in the “Contacts” section of the Site. IFI Security will process your Personal Data in compliance with EU Regulation no. 2016/679 and the national legislation on personal data protection (hereinafter “Privacy Policy”). What Personal Data we process and how we collect them Your browsing of the Site and/or access to certain sections of the Site may entail the collection and further processing of your Personal Data by IFI Security. In fact, when you connect to the Site, the computer systems and software procedures used to operate them automatically and indirectly administer and/or acquire certain information (such as, purely by way of example, “cookies”, as specified in the “Privacy Policy Note – Cookies” at the end of this policy, IP addresses, domain names of computers used by users who connect to the Site, the “URL” addresses of the resources requested, the time of the request to the server). Any requests for information or services from you may also involve the collection and further processing of your Personal Data (such as name, surname, postal and e-mail address, age, date of birth, sex, etc.). In particular, your Personal Data may be collected:

  • through your completion of online forms; and

  • through the publication by you of Contributions (as defined below), the content of which may include your Personal Data provided directly by you on social networks managed independently by third parties, such as, but not limited to, Facebook, Twitter, etc. (hereinafter “Social Networks”). (hereinafter “Social Networks”). By “Contributions” we mean images, comments, catchphrases associated with the subject matter of the Site.

If you choose to send a request through the “Contacts” section of the Site, the provision of certain Personal Data is necessary for IFI Security to meet your requirements, so the relevant fields of the registration form are marked with an asterisk or are otherwise marked as mandatory. What are the purposes of the processing of your Personal Data and its legal basis According to the needs you may express from time to time by accessing the various sections of the Site (and except for individual initiatives involving the provision of specific Personal Data, for which specific information will be published on the Site from time to time), the purposes of the processing of your Personal Data and the relevant legal basis are indicated below. Your Personal Data will be processed for the following purposes only with your prior consent, which may be revoked at any time by sending a request to the data controller by accessing the “Contacts” section of the Site. Management of and response to your requests

You may decide to consent to the processing of your Personal Data for the purpose of IFI Security’s management of and response to advertisements or the Site (“Contact” section of the Site). In relation to this purpose, your consent is required at the time of sending your requests. If you decide not to give your consent to the processing of your Personal Data for the above purposes, it will not be possible for us to continue sending your request. Moreover, even without your consent, IFI Security may process your Personal Data for the following purposes: I. management of the activities related to your use of the Site, including the publication by you of Contributions on the pages of Social Networks dedicated to products of the various brands of IFI Security (as processing necessary for the performance of a contract or pre-contractual measures); II. management and performance of the fulfilments required by law (accounting, administrative, tax, etc.); III. management of disputes and possible litigation (as the legitimate interest of the Data Controller). How we process your Personal Data The processing of your Personal Data may include any type of operation, including collection, recording, organisation, storage, consultation, processing, modification, selection, extraction, comparison, use, interconnection, blocking, communication, erasure and destruction. Your Personal Data will be processed mainly in an automated form, but also on paper with logics strictly related to the relevant purposes, through databases, electronic platforms managed by IFI Security or by third parties appointed for this purpose as external data processors and/or integrated computer systems of IFI Security and of the above-mentioned third parties and/or websites owned by or used by IFI Security. The Data Controller has assessed the level of security as adequate taking into account the risks that may arise from loss, destruction, modification, unauthorised disclosure, accidental or unlawful access, abuse or alteration of your Personal Data. In particular:

  • has adopted security measures appropriate to the risks;

  • stores your Personal Data on servers located in Europe, which are subject to an advanced daily back-up system.

Where we process your Personal Data Your Personal Data is mainly processed at the Data Controller’s premises and at the locations of the data processors. For further information, please contact the Data Controller at the addresses indicated in the section “Identity and contact details of the Data Controller”.

In order to ensure compliance with the principles of necessity and proportionality of processing, the Data Controller has identified different retention periods for Personal Data in relation to the individual purposes pursued: (i) for the purposes of managing and responding to your requests in relation to IFI Security’s products and initiatives, advertising or the Site (“Contacts” section of the Site), your Personal Data will be stored for the time strictly necessary to process your request; (ii) for the purpose of managing the activities related to your use of the Site, including the publication by you of Contributions on the pages of Social Networks dedicated to IFI Security products, your Personal Data shall be kept for the time strictly necessary to provide the service you requested; (iii) for the purpose of managing and fulfilling the obligations provided for by law (accounting, administrative, tax, etc.), your Personal Data shall be kept for the time strictly necessary to fulfil your request.(iii) for the management and performance of legal obligations (accounting, administrative, tax, etc.), your Personal Data will be kept for the time strictly necessary for this purpose; (iv) for the management of disputes and litigation, your Personal Data will be kept for the time strictly necessary for this purpose and, in any case, not beyond the applicable statute of limitations.

Who are the recipients of your Personal Data Your Personal Data may be disclosed to and processed by: (i) legal or natural persons acting as external data processors, carrying out outsourced activities, appointed by IFI Security or by IFI Security’s external data processors (including entities entrusted with the assistance, communication, marketing, advertising, promotion and sale of products and/or services as well as advertisers, advertising agents, IT service providers, Site operators, electronic platform operators, partners, credit institutions, professional firms); (ii) employees and/or contractors of the Controller (including system administrators) who, acting under the direct authority of the Controller, will be authorised to process your Personal Data; and (iii) employees and/or contractors of external data processors (including system administrators) who, acting under the direct authority of external data processors, will be authorised to process your Personal Data. Your Personal Data will not be disclosed to third parties, except where your Personal Data is disclosed by IFI Security to consultants for the purpose of protecting its rights, or disseminated. Minors Minors under 16 years of age must not provide information or Personal Data to IFI Security without the consent of the persons exercising parental responsibility over them. In the absence of such consent, it will not be possible for a minor to send requests through the Site. In particular, you have the right to:

  1. obtain from the Controller confirmation of the existence or otherwise of your Personal Data, even if not yet recorded, and their communication in an intelligible form as well as access to your Personal Data (by obtaining a copy thereof) and to the relevant information (including the purposes of the processing, the categories and origin of the Personal Data, the categories of recipients to whom they have been or may be communicated, the storage period (when possible), the rights that may be exercised);

  2. obtain from the Controller the rectification of your Personal Data and the integration of your incomplete Personal Data;

  3. obtain from the Controller the deletion of your Personal Data without undue delay, inter alia, when the Personal Data are no longer necessary in relation to the purposes for which they were processed or there is no longer any legal basis for their processing;

  4. obtain from the Controller the transformation into an anonymous form or the blocking of your Personal Data processed in violation of the law, including those that do not need to be stored, in relation to the purposes for which the Personal Data were collected or subsequently processed;

  5. obtain from the Controller the restriction of the processing of your Personal Data, inter alia, when you contest its accuracy or object to its processing, for the period necessary for the respective verifications;

  6. receive, in a structured, commonly used and machine-readable format, your Personal Data and transmit or, if technically feasible, obtain the direct transmission of your Personal Data to another data controller without hindrance, in cases where the processing is carried out by automated means and is based on your consent or is necessary for the performance of a contract to which you are party;

  7. withdraw consent to the processing of your Personal Data for any of the purposes for which it was given.

You may exercise your rights vis-à-vis IFI Security by accessing the “Contacts” section of the Site or by writing to the following e-mail address [email protected] or by sending IFI Security a letter by ordinary mail to the address indicated in the section “Data Controller’s identity and contact details”. Moreover, if you believe that the processing of your Personal Data violates the Privacy Law, you may lodge a complaint with the Personal Data Protection Authority of the State where you reside, where your place of work is located or where the alleged violation occurred, or you may apply to the same Authority for information on the exercise of your rights under the Privacy Law. The right to object to the processing of your Personal Data At any time and for reasons related to your particular situation, you have the right to object to the processing of your Personal Data that is necessary for the pursuit of a legitimate interest of the Controller or of third parties. In this case, the Data Controller shall refrain from further processing your Personal Data unless the Data Controller demonstrates the existence of compelling legitimate grounds prevailing over your interests, rights or freedoms or it is necessary for the establishment, exercise or defence of legal claims.
